The final term for the Ultimate Beneficial Owner of Brazilian and foreign companies with registry with Brazilian Federal Corporate Taxpayers’ Registry Number (CNPJ) has been extended for additional 180 days.

Brazilian IRS has published today (December 28, 2018), the Normative Ruling No. 1,863, dated December 27, 2018. This newly published Normative Ruling revoked the Normative Ruling No. 1,634/2016, which had established the final term as December 31st, 2018 for presentation of the Declaration of the Ultimate Beneficial Owner of  Brazilian and foreign companies with registry with CNPJ.
