Graduated (1953) and specialized in Civil Procedural Law (1967) at the Law School of the University of São Paulo – USP.
Founder of the law firm and consultant in financial and real estate law. Served as a member of the Board of the São Paulo Bar Association – OAB/SP (1974–1998) and of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association – OAB (1989–1990). Minister of Labor and Social Security (1963). Professor of Civil Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo – PUC-SP (1973–1974). Judge of the Regional Electoral Court (1995–1998). President of the São Paulo Lawyers Institute (1987–1989).
He was a member of the Brazilian Lawyers Institute – IAB, the São Paulo Lawyers Institute – IASP, and the American Bar Association – ABA.
